The Davines Group is taking part in the 2022 edition of the Terra Madre Salone del Gusto, Slow Food's world event dedicated to good, clean and fair food and food policies.
Terra Madre Salone del Gusto will take place in Parco Dora, Turin, from Thursday 2 to Monday 26 September, with the Marketplace of more than 600 Italian and international producers, a rich programme of events and exhibition spaces to highlight how food can be a precious opportunity for regeneration.
Among these, we would like to highlight three appointments that will see the participation of Dario Fornara, director of EROC (European Regenerative Organic Center), born from the collaboration between our Group and the Rodale Institute:
- September 24th at 3:30 p.m. - "The art of transforming waste into valuable products": discussion on innovative ways of reusing food waste to manufacture new quality products, with reference to the cosmetics sector.
- September 24th at 4.30 p.m. – “How can sustainability be certified?”: in-depth discussion on the characteristics that product labels must have in order to correctly and clearly communicate sustainability and composition.
- September 25th at 11:00 a.m. - "There is no alternative to agroecology": Agroecology is a set of agricultural practices, but also a vision and a real movement, capable of focusing on biodiversity, the conservation of ecosystems, knowledge and the needs of communities.
